This is a 6’ Steinway model "A” grand piano, circ 1880. It
is a work in progress and it is getting rebuilt.
This work will include a new
pinblock, strings, action parts (whippens, hammer shanks and flanges),
re-defining the bridge cap (repinning bridge), keytops and bushings, hammers
and dampers.Refinishing will be left up to the discretion of the buyer but the
present condition of the exterior is "okay”. This will be a beautiful sounding
piano and have the true tone and quality of the traditional Steinway piano.
